Hadrian Primary Win Choir of the Year 2020
The Hadrian Primary School Choir keep going from strength to strength and have just been awarded the prestigious title of NE KS2 Choir of the Year 2020.
Singing a medley of songs from the longest running West End musical, Les Miserable, the choir (consisting of students from year 3 -6 ) impressed judges with their vocal talent, exceptional high standards, self discipline and choreography skill.
The competition took place at Durham Cathedral, during which the Hadrian Choir competed against another 12 schools from across the region. Competition was high with some fantastic entries from other schools.
The title of KS2 Choir of the Year comes with a performance opportunity at the Sage in Gateshead in July and again at Durham Cathedral during the Music Festival in January 2021.
