Welcome to our class page!

 

Below you will find lots of information about our class and things to remember. This is a very important year for the children as some will preparing for their SATs in May. They will be fully supported on their journey throughout the year and I aim to keep you posted on all the events and learning that is taking place. Please keep an eye on the page for class information updates and to see the fun that we are having together! Don't forget that we also have our school Facebook page along with our Google Classroom page.

Monday 27th February 2023- Wednesday 1st March 2023- Book Fair 15.30-16.30pm

Tuesday 28th February 2023- Partial strike day (Our class will be in school)

Thursday 2nd March 2023- World Book Day

Wednesday 29th March 2023- Make Easter Eggs

Thursday 30th March 2023- Display Eggs

Friday 31st March 2023- Break up for Easter Holidays

 

Summer 1

Monday 17th April 2023- Back to school

Monday 1st May 2023- Bank Holiday (school closed)

Tuesday 2nd May 2023- KS1 SATS begin

Monday 8th May 2023- KS2 SATS begin

Friday 26th May 2023- INSERVICE day

 

 

Things to remember:

  • Please remember to check that you have the correct uniform - if you are unsure then you can find the information on our website. 
  • Please bring in your P.E. kit every Monday and this can be taken home and washed at the end of the week. P.E will be a this half term. Any earrings need to be taken out or covered for PE.
  • Remember your home reading books! We will be reading together each day and if you are reading at home too, then we will be able to experience lots of wonderful texts together!
  • You can email Mrs Hunter from your school Google accounts if you have any questions or concerns, or send a message on Google Classroom.

Homework

Homework is given out on Thursday and it must be returned no later than the following Wednesday. Google Classroom will be used regularly, so please help your children access their emails and Classroom at home.

Reading

Children are asked to bring reading books into school everyday. It is expected that children should be reading their reading book each week and return them to school on a Monday. All reading records will now be kept online on the GoRead App.
