Expressive Art and Design
Expressive Arts and Design in Early Years is divided into 2 parts: Exploring media and materials and being imaginative.
Media and Materials:
The children are encouraged to select their own resources to create paintings and drawings. We encourage them to think about what they would like to create and what materials and resources would be the most effective.
Being Imaginative:
We provide children with the resources and skills for them to engage in imaginative play. In class 2 we encourage all children to participate in role play activities with their friends, as this promotes positive relationships and creative thinking.
