Welcome to Year 1/2 - 4EF!
Welcome to Mrs Fox’s class. We are a mixed class with Year 1 and 2 children. Throughout the morning we learn Phonics, Literacy and Maths. We cover foundation subjects in the afternoon.
PE
We do PE on Mondays or Tuesdays, so it’s best to bring in your PE kit at the beginning of each week.
Topics
Our Spring term topics are;
Science: Plants and Animals: We are focusing on nocturnal animals this half term.
History/Geography: The Great Fire of London.
Art/Music: This links with our Science and History/Geography topics.
Reading Books
Children are asked to bring reading books into school every day so children have the opportunity to read and change their books.
Library:
We welcome parents to come in and share the library experience with children on Wednesday’s at 3pm. If you can’t make it then children have the opportunity to change their library book on Thursday’s. Previous library books must be returned before children can take out a new book.
