Art

We were learning about ‘The Starry Night’ by Van Gogh today. We then recreated the painting.

This term in Art we are looking at the work of Vincent Van Gogh.

We had an amazing live workshop with Fiona from the National Art Gallery in London this week. We were even lucky enough to get a mini virtual tour inside the gallery itself.

Our fabulous Christmas Cards.

Designing the frames for our fabulous Bitmoji Class Calendars.

This week we have had lots of fun experimenting and developing algorithms in art.

Welcome to our Class Gallery displaying just some of our incredible artwork inspired by Wassily Kandinsky.

Created by Nursery and Year 6

The day our Year 6 children went to Nursery to teach the youngest children of our school all about 'The Dot' a famous children's book written by Peter Reynolds as a part of our whole school Art project.

Here we utilised our abstract shapes inspired by sound to develop an art piece in the style of Wassily Kandinsky.

This term we are looking at New Media Art. We have been exploring sound art and developing a range of ideas which show imagination and originality to create our very own pixelated art piece.

We have completed our baseline task and we have sketched our own self portraits.
