World Book Day 2022 trip to the The Word

We rewrote the Coming Home poem and turned it into a story. We then printed our stories and delivered them to the children in reception as a Christmas present.

Using thesauruses to help us improve and expand our vocabulary.

We read the poem ‘Coming Home’ we created a conscience alley and debated about what the Robin should do during the storm in order to stay safe.

We’ve enjoyed taking part in the Y6 extreme reading challenge!

We wrote letters to the world during COP26. We thought Arunjoy’s letter was so impressive we sent it to the Prime Minister!
