Mrs Smith one of our governors came in to talk to us about starting a healthy tuck shop. She has given us loads of information to research to decide whether or not it will be cost effective to start a new healthy tuck shop. After our research, we will let you know what decisions we made and why.
After our classes voted for our class Members of Parliament, all our MPs met for the first time. Our candidates gave speeches, and then our MPs voted for their Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Press Secretary and Clerks.
We were invited to the Town Hall along with some of our school governors Mr Brown and Mrs Cunningham and met the Mayor, Mayoress and Cllr Ellison. The Mayor invited us into the Council Chamber to announce our Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Press Secretary and Clerks.
We had an amazing time at the Town Hall. We were shown around and enjoyed some juice and biscuits. Our newly elected Prime Minister even got to see his Aunty on the former Mayors of the Borough list.
