School Uniform

SCHOOL UNIFORM

 

We pride ourselves on the joint support that parents and School give to this very important part of school life. School uniform provides an identity for our pupils and is an important part of our school ethos. This is the School uniform: -

 

Foundation and Key Stage One

 

Shirt, polo shirt or blouse - pale blue

Jumper or cardigan - Navy blue

Skirt or trousers (not flared) - Navy blue (not tracksuit or jogging pants)

Dress - light or dark blue / white check

Tights - navy blue

Socks - white

Shoes - black, plain and flat (Black trainer with no large logos)

Fleece Jackets – Navy blue (optional)

Reversible Coats – Navy blue (optional)

Children who wear head scarves should only wear plain navy or black

 

PE kit

Plain white T-shirt

Plain navy shorts

Black plimsoles

 

Key Stage Two

 

      Shirt, polo shirt or blouse – White

Throughout the year, unclaimed lost property (preloved uniform) will be available for parents to collect. In some circumstances, school may be able to support new parents by providing some items of uniform.

 

We also ask parents to refrain from sending children to school with hairstyles that include:

 

shaved lines or patterns, steps, coloured highlights, ‘rat tails’ or Mohicans & Mohawks. This list is not exclusive and due to fashions, it may be that there are other styles that school feels are inappropriate. Children with pierced ears should only wear plain studs for health and safety reasons.
