Be Unique;Believe, Achieve, Succeed Together
Hello and welcome to our class page! I am Miss Shelley, a Reception Teacher at Hadrian Primary School. Both myself and Mrs Baxter (Teaching Assistant) will always be happy to support you with any questions or information. We will be available on a morning or at home time. We will ask that all the children are inside before we have a conversation, for the safety of our children. We will do everything we can to ensure that we have a fun and memorable year with the children!
Our topic for Autumn 1 is 'All About me' and for Autumn 2 we will look into "Tales from Faraway Fantasies'. In the first part of the Autumn term we will look at stories including Owl Babies (Martin Waddell), Incredible YOU! (by Rhys Brisenden) and The Colour Monster (by Anna Llenas).
In Autumn 2 we will look at stories including, The Gingerbread Man, The Three Little Pigs, There is no Dragon in this Story and The Jolly Christmas Postman.
Please take time to look at this page regularly for class information updates and to see the fun that we are having together.

Seesaw is the fantastic online learning platform we have started using in EYFS from September 2022. We will use this on a daily basis so PLEASE PLEASE sign up and join in the fun!!
Your child or a familiar adult will upload content to their own secure space, which can then be viewed at school and by your family at home. Each child will bring home a unique code to enable you to access their online space. Seesaw also enables you to comment and contribute to your child's online learning journey, something we really value! It really is a lovely way for you to see what we are learning about in Class 2 and to stay connected to any messages or key information. There are two Seesaw apps that we use. Seesaw family, which enables you to view work and connect with myself and the Seesaw class app, which is used by your child for learning from home.
Class 3 will have PE every Thursday during the Autumn Term. Please send your child to school in their PE kit. Navy joggers and a white t-shirt. Plimsolls can be placed in school bag during the winter Months. Children will be learning ball skills and team games during their PE sessions.
