Computing

My Online Life

In computing we’ve been learning how to stay safe on the internet in many different ways. We have looked at self image, privacy and security, copyright, ownership and CyberSafety hero, which is a website where you can create avatars without showing your face. We have talked about what we shouldn't be sharing online, such as our phone number, email and passwords to the  social media. My Online Life is mixed in with PSHE because we discuss racist comments and messages. And if you were to get any racist, offensive or rude messages, Zip it Block it Flag it.

We are developing our basic computer skills by creating a leaflet on publisher.

We made Spark Videos about how to stay safe online.

We went to The Word @ The Openzone to learn about coding. We used 'Pencil Code' to write music using code and we had to debug the music in order for it to play.
