This is a very important year for Class 11. As you all know the SATs are coming   up very shortly (11th May 2015) and we need to be prepared. Y6 will be              expected to work very hard this year and attendance in school is key. 

Soon the booster classes will be every Thursday night from 3:45pm - 4:45pm. Please ensure all children attend. It is amazing how much the booster classes can really help.

 

Literacy homework is sent out on a Thursday and is to be returned on a Monday. Numeracy homework is sent out on a Monday and is to be returned on the Thursday. This gives the children plenty of time to come and see their teacher if they are struggling and need some help.

PE this term is on a Monday afternoon, however extra P.E lessons may be added at short notice, so please ensure children have their PE kit in school every day. We will be going on many trips to take part in tournaments, so it is vital that children have their kits in for training. Year 6 children will be taking part in swimming this term on a Tuesday morning so swimming kits must be brought in on a Tuesday. Swimming caps are now available to purchase from school.

We encourage children to bring in their reading books everyday so they can be read with and are then able to change their books. We also ask parents to read with their child each night.
