Science

We have made boats to investigate water resistance.

We are learning about forces in science this term and we have been investigating air resistance by making parachutes.

We have used ChatterKids to record our facts about the planets.

We have been learning facts about the planets. We used ChatterKids to create videos about each planet.

Our new topic in Science this term is all about Earth and Space. We recently described the Sun, Earth and Moon as spherical bodies by understanding how this knowledge has been attained.

The day we became Witches and Wizards to make potions and separate materials. We had so much fun!

Now testing the same materials again but in hot water. We had lots of fun together with Class 10 this week.

Science with Year 6

Having lots of fun experimenting with different materials to find out if they are soluble or insoluble.

As we continue with our Science investigations, this week we have investigated which materials were soluble and which materials were insoluble.

We have been thinking about thermal insulators and we were investigating which would be the best material to keep hot chocolate hot.
