Hadrian Primary School

"An outstanding school where children make excellent progress" Ofsted

Year 5-9RC

Welcome to Year 5 - 9RC!

During the year the children in Class 9 will be learning about a wide variety of topics such as; The Ancient Greeks, The Victorians, The Water Cycle, Contrasting Locations, Japanese and African Art, Musical Instruments and many more.

They will also be in charge of running their own healthy tuck shop and growing vegetables in our school allotment. The food that the children grow will be used to teach cookery skills, healthy eating and that vegetables do not have to be boring but in fact they can be very tasty.

Homework is sent out on a Thursday and is to be returned on a Tuesday giving the children plenty of time if they are unsure to ask any questions on a Friday or a Monday.

PE this term is currently swimming on a Tuesday morning but at times we will be having extra sessions getting ready for upcoming tournaments so please make sure your child has their PE kit in school most days.

We encourage children in Class 9 to bring in their reading books everyday so they can be heard reading and change their books.

We will be uploading pictures, videos and fantastic work produced by the children as often as possible so please keep checking this page for updates.
