This week we focussed on getting inspired and uplifting ourselves by setting new goals we want to work towards.
Show Racism the Red Card
We have created our own videos about anti social behaviour, drugs and alcohol.
We had the police in to talk about substance abuse. We learned about drugs and alcohol.
We have had loads of fun for Children in Need. We have completed an escape room, maths challenges, P-E and well-being activities.
Year 6 recently had a visitor from 'Kooth' who are a pioneering digital mental healthcare service for both children and adults.
Class 11 are celebrating Anti-bullying week this week by spreading as much kindness as we can throughout the school.
We have been learning all about COP26 and we have been creating videos to explain the problems and talk about the solutions which we think could help with the crisis. We have used Spark Video and Kinemaster as well as our media skills to create these videos.
To celebrate Black History Month we took some time to research just a few famous black musicians and created some video fact files about them. We even enjoyed listening to some of their most famous songs in class throughout the week too.

This term we have been discussing Climate Change and taking part in an exciting project with the Little Inventors team. We have designed our very own inventions and ideas that will help protect our planet and its biodiversity.
We have had so much fun running for House Captain in our teams. We had real ballot boxes and voting booths to use. We also learnt about Democracy.
We have been making our House Captain speeches so that the other children in the school can vote for the correct House Captain.
