Be Unique;Believe, Achieve, Succeed Together

Y1 Mrs Fox

Welcome to Year 1

Welcome to Class 4. We are a Year 1 class that will be working very hard throughout the year. Every morning we start with a phonics lesson. Our mornings consist of English and Maths. Our English lessons will include SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar). Foundation topics are covered in afternoon.

We’re all aware that things have been very different lately, and the children’s wellbeing will be a priority focus when returning to school. Alongside our PSHE curriculum, we will be taking part in whole school wellbeing topics, regular yoga and guided meditation sessions. We hope this helps with some of the transition helping children back into school.
