Homework

Homework is given out on Thursdays. It must be returned no later than the following Tuesday.

Reading Books

Children are asked to bring reading books into school every day. Children who bring in reading books everyday will have more opportunities to read in school and change their books.

Children need to read their reading books at home every day to an adult and should be reading approximately one book per week. To help your child progress with their reading, as well as listening to children read, you need to ask questions about what they have read to make sure that they have understood their books.

Library

Children have the opportunity to change their library book on Wednesday afternoon. Previous library books must be returned before children can take out a new book.
