Welcome to Year 2 - 5RK


Welcome to Miss King's class.  We are very busy working towards our SAT tests in May. We do Phonics everyday followed by Literacy and Maths. In the afternoons we do our foundation subjects such as Science, ICT, History, Geography, French, Music, Art, DT, PE, RE and PSHE.

Topics
In Science we are learning about the creatures that come out at night - Nocturnal Animals!  We are also studying the Great Fire of London in History.

PE
Our PE day is Tuesday. Please make sure your kit is in school.

Homework
Homework is given out weekly on a Thursday.  It is to be returned to school by the following Tuesday.

Reading Books 
Reading books should be in school everyday so children get the opportunity to read and change their books. Children who regularly read at home make more progress so please find time to read out of school too.

  • Bug Club Lots of games to practice your reading, phonics and maths.
