This half term, Year 1 have been learning about Friends in PSHE. We have talked about what makes a good friend and how we can show kindness, respect and care towards others. The children have enjoyed discussing ways to work together, share, take turns and solve small problems with their friends.

We have also been learning about staying safe online. The children explored what information is safe to share and what should be kept private, such as their full name, address, phone number and passwords. We talked about the importance of speaking to a trusted adult if anything online makes them feel worried, upset or unsure. Through our learning, the children have developed their understanding of positive friendships and how to stay safe both online and in everyday life.
