Music brings lots of joy to our classroom! Every fortnight, we look forward to our music sessions with Mr Richardson, where we practise our rhythm, listening and singing skills while he accompanies us on the piano. The children love joining in with actions, keeping the beat and singing together. Our current favourites are Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and Paintbox, which always fill the room with smiles and enthusiasm.

Music is woven into many parts of our school day. We often listen to calming classical music while practising our handwriting, helping us to concentrate and take pride in our work. The children also enjoy moving and dancing to a wide range of songs and musical styles. Whether we are following actions, creating our own dance moves or simply enjoying the music, these activities help to build confidence, coordination and self-expression. It is wonderful to see the children developing their musical skills while having fun and sharing these special experiences with their friends.
