Autumn – The Great Fire of London.

This term we have investigated what London was like in the year 1666. The children know the story of the Great Fire of London, and they can explain the reasons why the fire spread so quickly and caused such devastating effects on the City of London. We are in the process of looking at different sources and trying to decide which would or would not be useful in giving us information about the past.
