    Things to remember

    • Please remember to check that you have the correct uniform - if you are unsure then you can find the information on our website.
    • Please remember your P.E. kit to school every Tuesday as we have PE first lesson in the afternoon.
    • Our class swimming lessons will begin in Summer term 1 (Week beginning Monday 20th April 2026) every Tuesday, so please remember to bring your swimming kits (swimming costume, swimming hat and towel) ready for your swimming lesson.
    • You can still bring your own pencil cases and stationary equipment into school with you, but it is your responsibility to look after these.
    • If you have any worries or concerns, please come to see me or you can email Mr Webster or send a private message on Google Classroom if you need to speak to me and I will do all I can to help you.

    Homework

Spelling Homework - Spelling homework will be given out every Tuesday on Spelling Shed and is due in the following Monday. A practice test will be set on Spelling shed every Monday and you have until 8pm in the evening to complete this ready for your spelling test on Tuesday morning.

My Maths Homework - My maths homework will be given out every Thursday and needs to be completed by the following Tuesday.

Any problems or concerns about homework, please come and see me well in advance of the hand in date and I will support you in any way I can.

    Reading

Reading books should be brought into school every day. This book should go home and someone at home should try and read with you at least once per week. Your reading should be recorded in your reading record by an adult and it should be returned to the classroom every morning and taken home again at the end of every day.

Year 4/5 may seem a really scary year, but it can be the best year yet! You will need to work hard, but we will also have so much fun. There are so many brilliant things which usually happen in Year 4/5.

    Spooky Halloween Day
